Ascend contracts with mental health professionals across the state. Independent contractors administer the PASRR (Preadmission Screening and Resident Review) assessment which assists the state in ensuring nursing home placement and level of care are appropriate for each individual.
We are looking for quality driven, person-centered professionals who possess the passion, experience, and skills to administer these assessments.
This is contract work and clinicians are compensated for each completed assessment. The schedule is flexible as assessments can be administered in the evenings or on weekends if preferable.
Administer PASRR assessments for individuals with known or suspected mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or related condition, ensuring all assessments adhere to Medicaid regulations and the State’s requirements.
Administer and submit completed assessments following Federal HIPAA regulations.
Complete on-site assessments within the respective timeline specified by the Contract.
Qualifications to administer Mental Health Evaluations are as follows:
The above must have a minimum of 2 years of mental health experience.
Qualifications to administer Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities Evaluations (no testing) are as follows:
*QIDP/QDDP is a bachelor level professional specializing in providing services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
The above must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual/’developmental disabilities.
Qualifications to administer IQ Testing are as follows:
The above must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and be trained and licensed to administer IQ tests.
A Master’s Degree professional may meet the qualifications with clinical supervision.
