Ascend contracts with professionals who specialize in working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities across the state. Independent contractors administer the Support Intensity Scale (SIS) assessment which is an assessment tool designed to measure the level of support services individuals need so they may live as independently and successfully as possible, enhancing their quality of life.
We are looking for quality driven, person-centered professionals who possess the passion, experience, and skills to administer these assessments.
This is contract work and clinicians are compensated for each completed assessment. Ascend offers a flexible schedule, comprehensive paid training and continuous support.
Administer SIS assessments for persons with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities in accordance with AAIDD's protocols, the State's requirements and Ascend's quality standards.
Administer and submit completed assessments following Federal HIPAA regulations and Ascend's HIPAA related requirements, procedures, and policies.
Complete on-site assessments within the respective timeline specified by Ascend.
Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in a human services or related field. With strong experience, other fields of study may be considered.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with and/or providing direct care to persons who have diagnoses of intellectual and/or developmental disability.
